How to switch from key-based license to IP-based license in an IP-based licensing account?

Issue

A customer with an IP-based licensing account type wants to switch from a key-based license to an IP-based license.

Solution

IP-based licensing accounts have the option to choose between key-based or IP-based type of licenses depending on their needs. To switch from a key-based license to an IP-based license, please follow these steps:

1.  Cancel your key-based license (to stop billing);

2.  Add IP-based license;

3.  Re-register the server with an IP-based license.
