cPanel ports 2082 and 2083 are closed, but accessible

Environment

• Imunify360
• cPanel

Solution

If port 2083 is closed, but the "cPanel Account Protection" feature is enabled, we can see some traffic since it all forwarded to Webshiled (expected); disabling this feature should help. In any case, traffic should not reach the server`s port except Webshield.

The feature can be disabled in UI or with the command:

imunify360-agent config update '{"WEBSHIELD":{"panel_protection":false}}'
