Unable to reinstall the package. Package profile information could not be sent.

Issue

When trying to reinstall packages on a server using CloudLinux 7, an error occurs

There was an error communicating with CloudLinux Network server.
Package profile information could not be sent.
rhn-plugin: Error communicating with server. The message was:
Request Entity Too Large

It happens when sending the package profile to the CLN server. The error is accompanied by the following messages in the logs:

An error has occurred:
Network error: Unexpected EOF
See /var/log/up2date for more information

Also, an error is recorded in the log /var/log/up2date:

Request Entity Too Large

Environment

• CloudLinux 
• yum
• rhn-client-tools < 2.11.5

Solution

Update rhn-client-tools to version -2.11.5-1 or higher

Cause

Internal product issue CLOS-3032.
