Imunify errors in Apache: Unable to connect to address '/var/run/imunify360/libiplists-daemon.sock'

Issue

The similar excessive errors are received:

Environment

• Imunify360
• cPanel
• AlmaLinux

Solution

• Check if the "Jail Apache Virtual Hosts using mod_ruid2 and cPanel® jailshell" feature is enabled and disable it.
• Alternatively, our WebShield can be switched to "Proxy":

imunify360-agent config update '{"WEBSHIELD": {"mode": "proxy"}}'

Our developers are working to improve our WebShield socket and prevent this issue in the future.

Cause

"Jail Apache Virtual Hosts using mod_ruid2 and cPanel® jailshell" is experimental and may cause conflicts under certain scenarios.
