Sometimes the information in the Imunify360 Dashboard may confuse you with the way the server name is displayed as it may either display the real hostname or a set of symbols.
In case you see the hostname looks like on the latter screenshot in the Dashboard, it does not mean something has been messed up. The set of symbols you see there is your server ID – you can confirm this by running the following command (it will also show you if the license is valid and registered fine):
# imunify360-agent rstatus -v --json
Usually, a hostname displayed in the Dashboard is loaded from the correlation server which takes the hostname value from the ServerConfig message. If the hostname is wrong, it may be because of different reasons, e.g. the hostname has been changed recently and the ServerConfig message has not been sent yet, or the os.uname() and cPanel recognize the hostname differently.
When the hostname is unknown, server_id is displayed instead of it in the Dashboard. ServerConfig is sent once a day or on the server start, and in order to force it, try the following command:
# systemctl restart imunify360.service
