Default PHP modules are not applied to new accounts.

Issue

When changing PHP version in "PHP Selector" modules specified by the admin in the PHP Selector defaults are ignored and remains empty.

Environment

• CloudLinux
• Plesk
• cPanel
• PHP Selector

Solution

1. Ensure that the /etc/cl.selector/defaults.cfg didn't have empty sections like:

   [php7.3]
   
   [php7.4]   

2. Go to CloudLinux Manager > Selector re-enable every selected module in "Choose default modules for" for the particular PHP version in the Main Settings section and click Save
