How we can automate purchasing new licenses?

Please, note that an automated purchasing of new licenses is available in IP-based licensing (Reseller/Partner) accounts only. 

Having the IP-based licensing (Reseller/Partner) account allows you to benefit from the following:

• Automated ordering through our API

• Easy-to-use, IP-based licensing

• A chance to pay for licenses used in the previous month on the 1st day of the following month.

We can convert your account to an IP-based licensing account in case you would like to do it. Please, refer to CLN for IP-based accounts to find out more about this type of account.

Note that yearly subscriptions are not supported by this type of account. You will be charged on a monthly basis only.

One of the features that will also be available for you is that you can use both CloudLinux OS Shared Pro (as IP-based licenses) and CloudLinux OS Shared (as key-based licenses).

If you decide to convert your account to an IP-based licensing account, all your currently active licenses will be automatically converted. 

The billing will also be affected by the account conversion. In particular, 

• No invoicing history that is currently available for you in your regular account will be shown in an IP-based licensing account. However, the Billing team will be able to provide you with a copy of the invoices per request if needed.
• All payments made during the current month as a regular customer will be refunded back to you as we will bill you for the current usage on the 1st day of the following month.
