cPanel's automatic installation attempt fails

Issue

The installation fails with some particular yet obscure wording:

Error
You have a license for “Imunify360”, but the “Imunify360” installation failed. 
For more details, review the following error log: 
/var/cpanel/logs/imunify360-install.log

The following error was returned: (XID g7amrb) 
“/bin/bash” reported error code “1” when it ended: 
at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Store.pm line 1108.

While the log file clearly states:

WARNING: License is invalid for current server

Which leaves no place for doubts.

Environment

• Imunify360
• cPanel

Solution

Pay attention to the fact that reinstallation may reset some settings. A workaround would be the following:

wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh -O i360deploy.sh
bash i360deploy.sh

And this log file may also clarify the issue:

tail -n250 /var/log/i360deploy.log

Cause

Likely, the scripts don't work around some exceptions in case of temporary issues.
