Plesk update fails: Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'imunify360-alt-php'

Issue

• Plesk update or autoupdate fails with the following error:

  Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'imunify360-alt-php':
  - Status code: 401 for https://repo.alt.cloudlinux.com/el/****/alt-php/8/updates/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml (IP: 1.2.3.4) 
  dnf.exceptions.RepoError: Failed to download metadata for repo 'imunify360-alt-php': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried
  
  ERROR: The Yum utility failed to install the required packages.

• CloudLinux 8 is installed on the server.

Environment

• CloudLinux
• Imunify360

Solution

1. Disable the Imunify360 altPHP repository:

   # grep enabled /etc/yum.repos.d/imunify360-alt-php.repo
   enabled=0

2. Re-attempt the Plesk update:

   # plesk installer update

Cause

Once the server is upgraded to CloudLinux, altPHP packages are managed by CloudLinux Manager. The repository, provided by Imunify360 is no longer accessible.
