How to transfer licenses from cPanel to the CloudLinux Portal?

Issue

The customer wants to transfer licenses from cPanel to the CloudLinux Portal.

Solution

Please note that licenses cannot automatically be transferred from cPanel to the CloudLinux Portal.
In order to transfer the licenses from cPanel to the customer's CloudLinux account, the customer should follow the steps below:

• Contact cPanel directly and ask to cancel the CloudLinux licenses purchased from cPanel (to stop further billing by cPanel);
• Purchase the required licenses from CloudLinux directly;
• Re-register servers using an activation key generated in the CloudLinux account once the purchase is completed. The activation key should be sent to the customer's email address along with the installation instructions.

Cause

The customer needs to transfer licenses from cPanel to the CloudLinux Portal.
