Issue
How to downgrade CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) to CloudLinux OS Shared
Environment
- CloudLinux OS Shared Pro
Solution
Please note that all active CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) will be downgraded to CloudLinux OS Shared. Unfortunately, it is not possible to downgrade only some of the CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) to CloudLinux OS Shared.
The downgrade option is available through both - the Dashboard and Billing sections inside the account portal.
To downgrade CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) from the Dashboard section, please:
- Log in to the CloudLinux Portal;
- Go to Dashboard / My products / CloudLinux OS Shared section;
- Click on Downgrade to CL OS Shared.
To downgrade CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) from the Billing section, please:
- Log in to the CloudLinux Portal;
- Click on the Billing section (top right corner);
- Click on the Subscriptions tab;
- Click on Downgrade to CL OS Shared.
Once it's done, server(s) will automatically be downgraded. The server re-registration isn't required.
Please note that CloudLinux will charge a full monthly price for a downgraded license(s). At the same time, the amount associated with the unused period of the previously paid CloudLinux OS Shared Pro license(s) will be credited to the account balance. The credits will automatically be used once the new invoice is generated in the account.
