ImunifyEmail does not filter incoming spam delivered to the server

Issue

ImunifyEmail does not filter inbound spam delivered to the server.

Solution

ImunifyEmail does not filter incoming email messages and this is expected.

ImunifyEmail is designed as a solution to filter outgoing illegitimate emails from the server, as a protection against suspicious users trying to send outgoing spam from the server. Or as protection against sending an email from the server via a mail forwarding method. I.e. ImunifyEmail handles any outgoing mail message from the server.

Since ImunifyEmail does not filter incoming email messages, for inbound spam filtering it is recommended to use the protection and mechanisms that are installed on the server, for example, together with the control panel (SpamAssassin and so on).
