IP addresses added via external IP lists are not displayed in the UI

Issue

Imunify360 admins regularly ask why external lists don't show up in Imunify360 firewall UI, i. e. why the IP addresses that were added via external IP lists are not displayed in the UI.

Solution

This is a confirmation that the IP addresses that were added via external lists aren't supposed to show up in the Imunify360 GUI - the mentioned behavior is normal and expected.

We already have a feature request IFR-718 with regards to possible displaying the IP addresses from the external lists in the GUI, but unfortunately there is no ETA available at this time.

Cause

The external .txt lists are read on-the-fly and aren't imported into regular lists.
