How Imunify360 is updated?

Solution

An auto-update starts daily according to the daily cron "/etc/cron.daily/imunify360.cron". If an update is available in the current update slot, Imunify360 is getting updated. Usually, it takes up to two weeks after the initial stable release.

With each release, it only requires updating the "imunify360-firewall" package. All other packages will be updated according to dependencies.

The major update (e.g. "10" in "5.10.3"), is released approximately every month. The minor one (as "3" in "5.10.3") is released weekly or even more frequently if a hotfix is required. We do not recommend changing the usual update schedule to not miss any urgent update or new features.

If you don't want to get updates, please, comment the task in /etc/cron.daily/imunify360.cron. But, it is not recommended way.
