Issue
The following error appears in the Exim logs:
Error: pam(user@example.org,<IP>,<SESSION>): Multiple password values not supported
Environment
- Imunify360
- imunify360-pam enabled
Solution
The problem has been fixed in Imunify360 since version 6.7, where the dovecot native brute force protection module becomes available for activation.
1. It is enough to update Imunify360 to the latest release, as described in the documentation.
2. And then activate the module in Imunify360 settings:
imunify360-agent config update '{"PAM": {"exim_dovecot_native": true}}'
