Unable to convert CentOS 7 to CloudLinux (OpenVZ 7)

Issue

When trying to convert a current CentOS 7 to CloudLinux OS, the following message arises:

You are running inside VZ container, without LVE support.

Environment

• CentOS 7
• Virtuozzo 7
• OpenVZ 7

Solution

As of February 2024, AlmaLinux 8-based containers are supported. Detailed requirements, restrictions and installation instructions can be found here.
