Outdated or vulnerable software discovered - Action Required email notification

Issue

The customers may receive an email with the subject "Outdated or vulnerable software discovered - Action Required." if they have ImunifyAV installed.

Environment

• ImunifyAV
• WHM/cPanel
• Any operating system

Solution

It is recommended to follow the instructions on the email notification by updating any outdated software or component containing vulnerabilities and/or upgrade to Imunify360, which offers superior protection.

Cause

ImunifyAV collects information about vulnerable / outdated software with the help of app_version_detector and the emails to customers to prevent possible infections by taking the recommended actions are generated based on that information weekly (therefore the results might be slightly outdated).
