Upgrading from CloudLinux 8 to CloudLinux 9 using Elevate

I run CloudLinux 8 with cPanel.

Is it possible to upgrade to CloudLinux 9 without reinstalling the operating system?

• CloudLinux
• Elevate
• cPanel

Solution

At the moment, we do not support upgrading from CloudLinux 8 to CloudLinux 9 using Elevate.

We only support upgrading from CloudLinux 7 to CloudLinux 8.

Is it possible to upgrade to CloudLinux 9 without reinstalling the operating system?

At the current state, you will need to deploy a fresh server with CloudLinux 9 and migrate your configuration/data.
