PHP Selector Error - "System default PHP version is alt-php"

Symptoms

You may receive the following error in PHP Selector on cPanel servers:

System default PHP version is alt-php. PHP Selector is disabled. Use cPanel MultiPHP manager instead

Solution

Set one of the ea-phpXX versions as the System PHP Version in WHM -> MultiPHP Manager page.
