Issue
While registering the system, you may receive the following error:
Error Message:
Maximum usage count of 1 reached
Error Class Code: 61
Error Class Info: Too many systems registered using this registration token
Solution
The error might show up if the license key is already in use on another machine. Usually, license keys for any CloudLinux products have the "Server quantity limit" - i.e., you may use the same license key for 1 server, 30 servers, 250 servers, etc.
Solution
To use this license key, you need to un-register it from another machine that's no longer in use.
If you are a direct CL customer
- Sign in to your CLN account. Select the product you wish to register and click on "Manage activation keys."
- Click on the activation key that you wish to use.
- Select (1) the server that you can unregister and click on (2) the Remove Server button.
- Confirm the action, and you're good to go!
If you haven't purchased the license with us
If you purchased the license for CL products from someone else, the root cause remains the same: the "Server quantity limit" for this license key is reached. However, since you don't have your own CLN account, it's a bit more difficult to un-register some servers.
To resolve this issue, please contact your license vendor and ask to remove the old server to register another one instead.
