How to manage Imunify360 config using external tools?

Issue

The imunify360.config file is getting overwritten during the configuration update. How to manage Imunify360 config using Ansible, Puppet, etc.?

Solution

Add customizations in files inside the following directory (except for "90-local.config", which is a symlink to "imunify360.config"):

/etc/sysconfig/imunify360/imunify360.config.d

Those files will not be overwritten on the local setting update, but they will have priority over the "/etc/sysconfig/imunify360/imunify360.config" file.

Cause

Starting from Imunify360 v.5.8, was introduced the overridable config which provides the ability to provision default config for the whole fleet of Imunify servers and keeps the ability for fine-tuning each particular server depending on its requirements.
