ea-apache24 conflicts with httpd

Issue

• CloudLinux manager packages install results in error

   Error: ea-apache24 conflicts with httpd-2.4.6-97.el7_9.5.cloudlinux.x86_64

• The following command did not provide an output

  # grep exclude /etc/yum.conf | grep httpd

Environment

• CloudLinux OS
• cPanel

Solution

Ensure that yum is configured in accordance with cPanel requirements - the httpd has to be excluded in yum:

exclude=courier* dovecot* exim* filesystem httpd* mod_ssl* mydns* nsd* p0f php* proftpd* pure-ftpd* spamassassin*
