How can I scan files owned by root?

Solution

Imunify360 will not scan such files due to technical restrictions.

Cause

Imunify360 was designed to protect websites from various malicious attacks and the Scanner itself is built to check the users' files which is why it does not scan files outside the users' home directories.

Manual attempts to scan the folder that exists above or is parent to the user's home directories, folders and files that do not belong to regular users, or are owned by root will be skipped, and such a scanning will be quickly finished and result in 0 files checked.
