How to upgrade CloudLinux from Legacy to CloudLinux OS Shared Pro edition?

Solution

1. Purchase a key-based or IP-based license for CL Shared PRO: https://cloudlinux.com/purchase-cl-os-shared-pro

2. Update the license key and install additional OS Pro components.

• Update the license key. 
  If you have a key-based license, please run the following command:

# /usr/sbin/rhnreg_ks --activationkey=<activation key> --force

Where <activation key> is like 1231-2b48feedf5b5a0e0609ae028d9275c93

• If you have IP-based license, use the clnreg_ks command instead:

$ /usr/sbin/clnreg_ks --force
