Accessing WHM, cPanel, or Webmail through the API is not feasible

Issue

Sometimes, Imunify360 + cPanel/WHM administrators encounter a problem when their WHM, cPanel or Webmail are inaccessible for API.

Environment

• Imunify360
• cPanel
• cPanel account protection

Solution

Turn off the cPanel account protection feature entirely or for a domain, or whitelist the API IP address.

Cause

The purpose of the JavaScript challenge is to verify whether the visitor's browser supports JavaScript:

• If it does, the visitor is identified as a human using a browser.
• If it does not, the visitor is classified as a bot and will be rejected. This serves as an effective deterrent against bots and automated scripts, and disabling it may expose the server to potential attacks.

Instead, please consider whitelisting your API IP addresses.
