WordPress Imunify360 Plugin displays "API request failed with status code: 401"

Issue

We received reports about an issue with the Imunify360 WordPress plugin across multiple WordPress sites. The following error message is displayed when attempting to access the plugin from the WordPress admin panel:

"API request failed with status code: 401"

Solution

Temporary Fix

Restart Imunify360 proxy service with:

service imunify-agent-proxy restart
