Imunify360 ruleset cannot be updated on Plesk

Issue

• The outdated ruleset warning is shown.
• The ruleset is not updated even after a manual attempt.
• The ruleset is not downloaded after the attempt to reinstall.

Environment

• Imunify360
• ModSecurity

Solution

Disable the ruleset and ModSecurity and then enabled them back:

# imunify360-agent uninstall-vendors
# plesk sbin modsecurity_ctl -d
# plesk sbin modsecurity_ctl -e
# imunify360-agent install-vendors

Check the version:

# cat /etc/apache2/modsecurity.d/rules/custom/VERSION
3.69

Alternatively, it might be in one of these files:

# cat /etc/httpd/conf/modsecurity.d/rules/custom/VERSION
# cat /etc/apache2/conf/modsecurity.d/rules/custom/VERSION
# cat /etc/httpd/modsecurity.d/rules/custom/VERSION
