Imunify360 packages are not updated due to conflicts

Issue

Updates for Imunify360 are not installed due to package conflicts, which is indicated by a message like this:

Skipping packages with conflicts:
(add '--best --allowerasing' to command line to force their upgrade):

Environment

• Imunify360
• CentOS 8
• Any panel.

Solution

Clear the cache of the package manager, and update imunify360-firewall with the command:

# dnf clean all

# dnf update imunify360-firewall --best --allowerasing

Before agreeing to install the updates, be sure to check which packages the package manager prompts to remove, in case the package manager prompts to remove too many - reject the update, contact support, and double-check the issue with the Imunify Specialized Team.
