Solution
According to /var/log/imunify360/error.log recently there was a connectivity issue between the server with Imunify and files.imunify360.com, imunify360.cloudlinux.com resources, which could have resulted in malfunction and a performance issue.
To get that fixed, once the connectivity issue is resolved, please re-download the Imunify360 files for data integrity (to skip waiting for the same to happen automatically) as follows:
service imunify360 stop
mv /var/imunify360/files /var/imunify360/files_backup
service imunify360 start
(please note - it may take several minutes for the new files to download).
In order to verify if the connectivity issue is still ongoing, the commands below might be helpful:
mtr -n -r -c100 imunify360.cloudlinux.com
mtr -n -r -c100 files.imunify360.com
(high percentage in the "loss" column would indicate a connectivity issue whilst figures close to zero indicate seamless connectivity).
