Issue
The customer wants to get a development license.
Environment
- CloudLinux OS Legacy - key-based or IP-based;
- CloudLinux OS Shared Pro - IP-based;
- KernelCare, KernelCare+ - key-based or IP-based;
- Imunify360- key-based or IP-based;

Solution
Yes, CloudLinux offers development licenses to support the following categories:
- Developers: Sizable software developer companies that sell their software to customers
- Hosting providers developing their own software: Companies should have a significant CloudLinux license presence, obtained either directly through the CloudLinux portal or through partners.
1 dev license if the customer has 10 licenses with us;
2 dev licenses if the customer has 50 licenses with us;
An additional, i.e., 5 dev licenses if the customer has 100 or more licenses with us
- Hosts needing to migrate to a new server: Up to 2 licenses and for no more than 2 months.
How to Proceed:
- Identify your category among the three mentioned above.
-
Submit a request to our Billing Department. Your request should include the following details:
- Login name for CloudLinux Portal
- Product name of license(s) needed
- The number of license(s)
- The duration of the license(s)
- The IPs of the servers to issue the development licenses
- Provide a reason for requiring development licenses.
- Tell us how many licenses you have with us or through a reseller. If it's through a reseller, please provide the IPs where the licenses are registered on.
- Please present evidence that demonstrates your eligibility. For example, provide a link to a website detailing your business.
Please contact the Billing team for details by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on the "Submit Request" button.
