Issue
Imunify Email is our latest addition to the Imunify360 security suite, it is the definitive solution when it comes to guard email against outgoing spam and prevents the server from getting blacklisted due to spammer scripts/unauthorised email sending. This guide walks through how to get it installed and enabled on a server running Imunify360.
Environment
- WHM/cPanel.
- CentOS 7/8, CloudLinux 7/8/9, AlmaLinux 8/9
- Imunify360
Solution
1. Before installing, check that your system meets the minimal requirements to run Imunify Email on any server from our documentation, If your system is compatible, then proceed with the installation with our deployment script:
# wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/imunifyemail-deploy.sh
# bash imunifyemail-deploy.sh
2. After the installation has complete, check the current status:
# ie-config status
3. Now enable Imunify Email, so that it can start working and generating entries, which will then be available within the Imunify360 UI > Email tab.
# ie-config enable
Cause
Imunify Email needs to be installed with the imunifyemail-deploy.sh script, which installs it and integrates it with Imunify360.
