Solution
The system charges you an authorization fee when you add a new payment method to your CloudLinux account. This fee is temporary and used to validate the added payment method.
It is usually a nominal fee of about $1.00 and is part of the authorization process. During this process, the system requests approval from the card issuer to ensure that the added payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
Once the authorization process is successfully completed, the fee is voided.
Your card issuer removes authorization holds after a short time. The exact time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution. If you use a debit card, you might see authorization holds as charges on your online statement. Your financial institution automatically reverses these charges.
